The Hokuriku Shinkansen Line will extend to Kaga. The extension of the Hokuriku Shinkansen is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2024, making Yamashiro Onsen even more accessible from major transportion hubs. Shinkansen bullet trains will stop at Kaga Onsen Station, the nearest station to Yamashiro Onsen, shortening the travel time between Kanazawa Station and Kaga Onsen Station by approximately 30 minutes.
